Product Overview

This course is intended for people who want to use Teams for more than just meetings alone, and explore the different features of Teams. Participants will gain efficiency in using many of Team’s features to communicate and collaborate within (and beyond) their organization.

Prerequisites:

A basic knowledge of / experience with Windows and Microsoft applications, including being able to start programs, switch between programs, locate saved files, close programs, and access websites using a web browser. No prior experience with MS Teams is needed, but it is recommended to download the Teams desktop app prior to the course, as the course will be held through and will focus on the desktop app version of Teams.

Presenter:  Izzy Perry - Microsoft Office Specialist Expert, Microsoft Certified Trainer

Izzy is an administrative professional with over twenty years of experience working with Microsoft Office. Her experience in various paralegal, corporate and government offices has given her differing perspectives to engage and develop both her knowledge and her students' knowledge. She is passionate about computers and software and brings that passion to her work and her classes.

Refunds or Transfers: 

  • Five (5) or more business days before the course start date: Full refund of registration fees or can be transfers to a different course date.
  • Less than five (5) business days before the course start date and course no-shows: No refunds or transfers to future course dates.

Other Policies

  • Substitution of another member of your company/team is permitted up to the course start date for no additional fee.
  • Unless otherwise stated, every person able to see, hear, and observe the virtual course sessions must be a paid participant. Non-compliance of this requirement will result in removal from the course. Refunds will not be issued to students who are removed from the course for non-compliance of this requirement.
  • If the NRCA has to postpone or cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment, NRCA will refund the registration fee or, if possible, the attendee may choose to move to an identical session in the future.
